Rosemary Laird, M.D., M.H.S.A is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Geriatrics at the Florida State University School of Medicine. Dr. Laird also serves as a Principal Investigator for ClinCloud Research in Viera, Florida, and she is the founder of the family caregiver support company, Navigating Aging Needs, LLC.


Dr. Laird received her medical degree with honors from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1991. She completed an Internal Medicine residency and Geriatric Fellowship.


She is a recognized expert in diagnosing and caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease and spent 20 years as the Medical Director for two state-designated Memory Disorder Clinics. In 2019, the governor of Florida appointed her to serve on the state’s Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Committee. She is a sought-after speaker and educator and was named the American Geriatrics Society’s Geriatrician of the Year in 2013.


Dr. Laird is a passionate advocate for the support of family caregivers and co-authored the book Take Your Oxygen First: Preserving Your Health and Happiness While Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s Disease.


Dr. Rosemary Laird and Nurse Practitioner Maureen Rabazinski worked together for 5 years developing their unique model of care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other disorders. Their work continues through My Memory Clinic.org, a telehealth specialty medical practice focusing on individualized care and support for patients and family caregivers.
