Dr. Rosemary Laird, MD, MHSA, brings over 30 years of expertise in geriatric and Alzheimer’s care.
As Chief Medical Officer of My Memory Clinic and Clinical Associate Professor at FSU College of Medicine, she leads efforts in early detection and support for cognitive health.
Appointed to Florida’s Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Committee, Dr. Laird plays a key role in shaping care across the state — and right here in Brevard.

Is there any cost to participate?There is no cost to you, and no insurance is required to participate.

How long is the Healthy Brain Assessment Visit, and what does it include?The initial visit lasts approximately 60 minutes. You’ll meet with a licensed healthcare provider for a clinical review and complete a series of cognitive assessments that evaluate memory, attention, and overall brain function.

What is a p-tau 17 blood test and what does it tell me?The pTau217 is the most accurate, easy‑to‑obtain blood biomarker for detecting and tracking Alzheimer’s disease today.

What happens after the first visit?You will receive a personalized care plan detailing your risk for dementia or Alzheimer's disease. If identified as "At Risk," you will be referred for a p-tau blood test, a biomarker associated with Alzheimer's disease. Following the blood test, a 45-minute Disclosure Visit will be scheduled, during which your healthcare provider will review your results, discuss your brain health status, and address any questions you may have.

What do I receive from participating in the program?You’ll receive a personalized care plan based on your assessment. It outlines your brain health, identifies any risks, and includes next steps and strategies to support long-term wellness. You'll also be connected to support resources tailored to your needs.
